This 350-room beachfront property on the Sea of Cortez is an affordable all-inclusive resort for families and adults alike. It’s a big property with a great layout consisting of three sections of rooms wrapped around three pools (one with a swim-up bar) and facing a huge beach. Swimming in the sea is often too dangerous due to the strong current. Long walks along the shore, however, are not to be missed. Renovated rooms balconies, rain shower heads, and minibars stocked with free items. There are two buffets and three a la carte restaurants (with restrictions), and a sky bar with some of the best views in town. More dining and shopping can be found a few miles away in the historic district of San José del Cabo.
LOCATION
Barcelo Grand Faros is located on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Sur. The town of San José del Cabo is the second of two major hubs that make up Los Cabos. Most of the resorts in this eastern part of the coast sit along a stretch of beach that fronts the Sea of Cortez, commonly called Hotel Row. This tourist hub has some shops and restaurants on the opposite side of the street, though they stay pretty quiet since most of the hotels are all-inclusive.
